Despite the fact that lodgings are scattered over the city, as Battambang is genuinely little, most are close to 500 meters to 1 km from town focus. There are a few new places in the zone of the transport stations, at the north end of town and along the east side of the stream in the focal point of tow. At the monetary allowance end of the range, there are some extraordinary little guesthouses like Ganesha and Here Be Dragons and others.

Several hotels and guesthouses have popped up on the east side of the river in recent years, both along the riverside and on the main roads running east of the river. In fact many of the towns better places, including several newish 2 and 3 star options are on the east side. The places along the riverside are within easy walking distance of the town center and Walking District on the west side, And even the places away from the riverside are within walking distance or an easy tuk-tuk ride to the Walking District.
